With 32 victories, Pierre Clostermann was the most successful French pilot of WWII. He was also an excellent ground attack pilot. With his Hawker Tempest, he destroyed 72 trains, 225 vehicles, a submarine and 2 torpedo boats. After the war, he published a bestselling book “The Big Show”, describing his adventures.
